Greetings from Jam Chowder, the groove-a-licious rock band that puts a smile in your ears and a shake in your hips. If you like the Allmans, Steely Dan, the Dead, Van Morrison, Creedence, Little Feat, the Stones, Los Lonely Boys, Dr. John, Santana, and Jethro Tull, then you'll love the smokin' mix of covers we've cooked up.
We put the word 'jam' in our name because we aspire to create improvisational excitement on stage and keep it both loose AND tight in all the right places. The idea is to leave enough room to be in the moment, explore new spaces, and create a shared experience with the audience.
That's where you come in. Nothing stokes our passions more than a supportive and dancing crowd. We aim to continually grow our community - one that shares good vibes, good music, and good times together. So come on down to our next show to hoot and holler with us!

Someon You Can X-Ray
Founded in 2012, Someone You Can Xray has followed its roots, evolving from a folk rock acoustic duo into a dynamic electric stage ensemble. With a high-energy, funky rock n' blues sound, 'Xray' is as much at home in an acoustic listening room as on a festival stage, engaging listeners to sing and dance along.
Their third studio album, "Hot 'N Fresh" was released on June 9, 2018, to a sold out show at Bridge Street Live, in Collinsville, CT. The music video for "Call Me" was released Jun 30, 2018. Fourth and fifth albums are being recorded and produced with new material in 2022!
Someone You Can Xray performs regularly at CT blues and rock venues, as well as festivals, weddings, private parties, and in support of charities and humanitarian causes.
Old Dog New Trick
Old Dog New Trick is a popular band that sprang onto the Lower Connecticut River Valley music scene some eight years ago. Sister Funk
Sister Funk are they funk? Nope! What are they? They are a rock-country, folk-pop band based out of New Haven, CT who has been sharing national stages with acts like: Mellissa Etheridge, B52s, Foreigner, ZZ Top for close to 20 years.
Did you say 20 years? Yes this group has been to therapy and back to keep their high energy show going all these years.
2022 brings their 6th full-length independent CD release to the masses. Tracks off this new CD Wings To Fly are eclectic, more raw then their pervious releases and include some solid country-rock tunes such as Ride With Me & Life On The Road and some funky-blues-rock tunes like Want What I Want and It Ain't You. There are some surprise genres on this compilation such as Frostbite (rock-metal) and One Small Step (electra-pop).
Sister Funk has been nominated for many awards and titles: Best Rock band- Advocate, Best Rock Song- New England Music and has had their song Gone featured on Sirius Out Q as #1 for 15 consecutive weeks. Sister Funk performances are known for being unpredictable, playing multiple instruments and performing medleys of their favorite cover songs with their own creative interpretation. Don't be fooled by the name this dynamic band has something for everyone.

The Gleeful Conspiracy
The Gleeful Conspiracy is a Connecticut-based band that digs deep into a trick bag full of superheated guitar soul to raise earworms the size of mobile homes.
The band was created in 2020 by lockdown-confined newlyweds Thom and Whitney Guthrie as a vocal/keys and bass duo. It was a start, but it needed ... something. The drum machine on the keyboard started demanding top billing, too.
They quickly recruited drummer Mike Keyes, a fixture on the local scene. Then Fate high-fived them when Thom and Whitney ran into Jeff Carpenter and his son at a local guitar shop.
Jeff was just getting back into playing and making home recordings, but he was quickly persuaded to swerve into the glamorous rock and roll lifestyle the Guthries promised.
After a string of amazingly well-received live performances, the band recorded their first EP, Manifestival, with Michael Arafeh, Middletown's Musical Ambassador, at the Coffeehouse Studio. It was released in Spring 2024, and a full-length follow-up is already in the works.
The Conspiracy has one goal: they're here to glitterbomb your brain until you dance. Only the finest handcrafted grooves and lyrics go into every bite.
